How to Remove Eye Makeup?

Removing stubborn eye makeup at times can be a daunting task.  Removing eye makeup correctly is very important for eye care and overall skin regime. If you’re not gentle with application or not using the right formula, it can put a similar strain on the delicate, injury-prone skin around your eyes. Here are some useful tips to remove eye makeup.

Firstly: Remove your eye makeup before using a face wash. Many cleansers cannot clean eye shadows, foundations and concealer  effectively, especially around the eyes and lashes that’s where eye makeup remover ropes in.

Secondly: when it comes to getting rid of more rigid formulas like waterproof mascara, it won’t get the job done and will leave a damaging residue, if you’re really not careful, it can even damage the eyes.

Thirdly: Use natural cotton pads and Q-tips. Don’t take the fragile skin around your eyes for granted. While using your fingers or a tissue might get the job done, but using Q tips or natural cotton pads will be far less abrasive on the skin.

Fourthly: Technique matters .Press product in, then wipe downward. Press the cotton ball down around your eye and allow it to dissolve so that less rubbing will be necessary. When massaging the product around your eyes do so in a circular motion and in similar manner be sure to wipe downward.

Lastly: Hydrate; It is very essential part of eye care regime especially when you are wiping the makeup. Apply an effective eye cream or gel to maintain your skin near eye area. To replenish the delicate skin after removal of eye makeup, apply and hydrate your skin with nourishing eye cream or gel.
